Do the handles get hot? - Stainless steel cookware?
So, I am looking to buy a 'masterclass' cookware set - it comes with an array of pots, steamer, sieve, pans and a large stockpot/boiling pot. The only problem is that everything is stainless steel - including the handles. I was just wondering if they would get too hot to touch and if i am better off buying a set that has a plastic coating?

In a high end product, you should expect the handles to be designed in a way to facilitate heat dispersal. They won't necessarily get too hot to handle, unless they are too close to the heat source.
Don't fill the pan up to the level where the handles are and don't let the gas flame extend outside the bottom of the pan. If you do, even the plastic handles will get hot and even burn (and smell really bad :-p).
I prefer steel handles because they last longer and you can put them in the oven too, if needed.
