Stroganoff

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef (or thin steak strips) 1 pound mushrooms (sliced) 1 onion (chopped) 3 heaping tablespoons sour cream 3 brown gravy (store bought) packages
1 package (16 oz.) wide egg noodles 1 tablespoon butter 3 cups water salt and pepper to taste

In a large frying pan and the stove burner on medium high,
place in your meat and onion and brown. Meanwhile, in
another frying pan, melt your |

butter and sauté your mushrooms until done and then mix them
in with your browned meat. Stir in your water and brown
gravy mix, salt and pepper and cook until it thickens. Stir
in your sour cream and let everything reheat for a few
minutes. In a pot, boil your water and cook the egg noodles
according to the package directions. Serve the mixture over
egg noodles. |
