Other than MREs, what do you live on and what are some of your favorite snacks/food that you've received from home?
I need some new ideas guys and gals.... i've sent most anything and everything the comissaries sell in Germany, so PLEASE tell me your best ideas!!!!
my husband liked pudding cups and boxes of cereal he loved thoes lil betty crocker microwave cakes that you just add water too as well and cans of cheez wis and chips and dips i dont know if i am much of a help i did the same thing during my husbands deployment but here is a list maby their is something you havent sent on it yet most of the guys have access to microwaves so you can send the lil chef boy ardee cups too and what not my husband all time fav was books he came back with a library hes a book worm
ps i think vieana sausages have pork in them dont mail them

some good gorumet cofee to him like starbucks or another brand with a small 4 cup cofe maker he would be very happy

you get creative and you will be amazed at what you can find to send him
candy is good but send the soft stuff during the winter months when it wont melt and make a mess
my husband was happy to get energy drinks or cans of his fav soda but please put them in zipper bags
you can send anything non persible that does not contain a pork product or alchol
if liquiq properly seal the container and place in ziplock bag so if they do bust the mess is contained
send him a local paper from home and some reading material car magazines swimsuit magazine however do NOT send porn
things like a nice energizer baterie charger with the various bateries is a great thing to get in the mail that way he doesnt need to buy bateries all the time
some like to send soap to the guys down range you can if you want to most of the time they can purchase their own so i mail the travel size ones you can mail the large ones too though jus seal them and place in ziper bag

chapstick in the jar not the tube because if it melts it can still be reused if in jar and wont make mess
fabric softner sheets are nice to have they freshen up the air and clothes in his ruck sac as well
thoes cheap glad containers with some plactic forks knives and spoons are great

stamps and envelopes
along with an international phone card can be purchased at walmart with atleast 300 or more mins on it calling international eats mins and cuts time in half
the good stuff is apreciated but they will be happy to get anything
rember no pork no porn and no alchol for obvious reasons if you are unsure what is in the product read the lable first
