Hello i have taken interest in liquid homemade batteries. such as saltwater batteries and the such.

I am curious. to all those who are wise with chemistry and how liquid batteries work. What metals and what liquids(able for public to get) should i use.

My goal is to make enough power to have a toaster make toast. sounds simple yet very hard. My device? simple a two by four thats rather long. with multiple proto boards. these proto boards will either be a parralel circuit or a series circuit. gonna go 30% parralel and 70% series. Then i take all these proto boards link them to one proto board and then link that to a toaster. (Yay for wires ^.^)

My problem is. that i cannot do this with a iron screw and a copper plate. So im curious as to whats the most potent metals and liquids i can use.

By the way.... ya im going to present this to my class( im not a student) and ya... kinda wanna make that toast.
